When Loki Studio founder and owner, Kristina, approached ASAI, she was looking to expand her thriving hair studio. She was in need of much more space but insisted on remaining in the vicinity of her well-established business. She found the square footage, but the space, which had previously been a bank and retail store, was comprised of numerous small rooms. Sad, acoustic ceiling tiles, pale green walls, and dated ceramic tiles on the floor soon transformed into a new studio to welcome Kristina’s discerning clientele.

ASAI Solution
The studio was designed to take advantage of the generous amount of natural sunlight which bathes the space. A welcoming custom reception desk greets clients, and from here, guests are led to a waiting area centred around a beautifully designed mosaic floor tile nestled in the industrial concrete slab exposed throughout. Sophisticated stations meet the stylist’s and client’s needs at all stages. Particular consideration was given to the display of products, to maximizing storage, and to selecting a material palette that would trumpet the Loki Studio brand.
