Eggspectation, a Montreal-based breakfast chain, approached ASAI when looking to expand into Toronto. ASAI sought to provide the restaurants with an updated and clean aesthetic, while respecting the existing brand that its patrons know so well. The new look had to furthermore be adaptable to locations of varying sizes and translate well into particular base building layouts.

ASAI has now completed the design for 6 locations, including Toronto, Vaughan, Kanata, and Richmond, BC. Each of the restaurants has recognizable items that are subtly modified and adapted to fit the idiosyncrasies of every site. What remains true in all of them is a modern and fresh aesthetic that welcomes regular and new customers alike.
